With many years of experience in the hospitality industry, including managing small boutique hotels, I’m committed to maintaining high standards in both service and food. A dedicated coffee drinker, too, I have been a judge in Cafe Society and feel part of the revolution to make coffee drinking the beverage of choice and to uplifting standards. I’ve worked the crazy hours, completed taste and smell tests, read Larousse for fun, an am continually learning, experimenting, and trying to understand the ever changing and sometimes fickle trends. In the end though I do believe ‘back to basics’ is always a good basis for this madness that is hospitality. And, more than anything else, I feel that behind success is a person with passion! Passion for food & flavours, for service, for travel … A bit like me.
