Ingrid Shevlin

A journalist of 30 or so years, I wrote  a food column for the Sunday Tribune for close on 20 years. Now retired I have the time to focus on my passion for all things food and coffee related. And of course eating out, of which I never tire.

I also set up Cafe Society, now in its 13th year, a coffee competition aimed at promoting the industry and helping readers become better informed about the ins and outs of coffee drinking – and making. It also gives credit where credit is due – to the baristas who make it happen, often with little acknowledgement or praise.
